You, Me & Him: 101 things to do with a 3-year-old in lockdown! Week 6…

Two mummies working from home… with a 3-year-old to entertain! Follow our adventures and get ideas for things to do with your own little ones in this blog!

No. 14 Summer Fruits Ice Lollies

If you had a go at Fruit Juice Ice Lollies (No. 13) last week, then try these milky vegan fruit lollies! We think they are an improvement on last week!

Recipe: 400ml coconut milk, 50ml maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 180g frozen or fresh fruit. Mix the ingredients and blend until smooth. Divide the mixture between ice lolly moulds and freeze for 6 hours.

No. 22 Dalek Box Craft

Potato masher at the ready - EXTERMINATE!! More creative ways to use delivery boxes! Check back next week to see the finished Dalek!

No. 44 Rainbow Balls

We are loving the rainbow theme right now! If you have a bag of balls from an old (and unused) ball pit, make yourself a rainbow made of balls! TIP: Thread the balls on string using a needle and you can cut the string when you want to use the balls again, and/or use hot glue which easily peels off the balls when you want to use them again.

No. 57 Jelly

Jelly is fun and easy to make… or so we thought! This was an epic fail for us – probably because we overloaded our jelly with fruit and chocolate!

No. 71 Rainy Day Photoshoot

Don’t let the rain stop you from getting out and taking your daily exercise. Make it fun and have your own photoshoot in the rain! TIP: Take colourful props to brighten up your pictures on gloomy days!

No.85 Homemade Pizza

Don’t waste money on a takeaway – it tastes so much better when your children make it for you instead! Try this easy pizza dough recipe:

No. 91 Dried Flower Cards

If you tried Flower Pressing a few weeks back (No. 90), you could use your dried flowers to create beautiful greetings cards to cheer up your friends and family!

And finally, this isn’t on our 101 list (because some things are just too much for a 3 year old), but once the little munchkins are tucked-up in bed, why not take up the Rainbow Cake challenge?!

Come back next week for the seventh instalment of You, Me & Him: 101 things to do with a 3-year-old in lockdown!
